  • Virtual United Airlines writes: “Submitted for closer review. Reason: Pilot/Aircraft Rank mismatch”
  • Eric Elia- Director of Operati writes: “Hi Christian. Please give the vUAL Operations Manual a quick read. Section 3.2 has guidance on rank v. aircraft. Please comment back to acknowledge that you have read this section and understand about flying within your rank. Thanks so much for being a vUAL pilot. ”
  • Christian Orehek writes: “Policy has been read and acknowledged. I guess I will make the jump back to the ejet. Is there any chance of leniency on this rule such as being permitted to fly 737 and A320 class aircraft at 30 hours? I think of it like skipping the regionals as some experienced pilots do in real life since I’ve got about 3500 hours of flight simulator time, and as you can see I’m pretty darn comfortable in the Airbus. I appreciate your consideration :)”
  • Eric Elia- Director of Operati writes: “Christian, we will credit up to 125 verifiable transfer hours that puts you at the rank of captain. Have you flown with any other VA's that can provide that backup?”
