Virtual United Airlines is one of the most active and largest virtual airlines operating today. To make flying more fun, we do not require check rides or tests and like to help members new to the hobby.
Our pilots must file a PIREP at least once every 30 days to remain active.
All of our flights have totaled over 137,200,155 miles! That is almost the distance from Earth to Mars.
We've flown over half of a million hours! That's why we're one of the most active VA's in the world!

Welcome to November! Its been a while since our last update. Couple notes today: 1. There have been several questions regarding the new FBW A380 for MSFS2020 and how will we address this new plane. VUAL will allow pilots to fly the A380 in its STAR Alliance liveries on real world STAR alliance partner routes. A list of flights can be found here: https://gotravelyourway.com/airbus-a380-routes. Many STAR alliance partners fly the A380: Singapore, Asiana, Luftansa, ANA, etc., so there are plenty of routes to choose from. The A380 cannot be flown in UAL colors, or as a charter flight in UAL livery.
Only a few more days of CAT free flying left. We will resume normal operations starting Aug. 1. If you have flown the B777 and/or MD11 delivery flights (KPAE to a UAL hub/KLGB to a UAL hub) we will have a delivery award available soon. Please make the request to your hub manager. Lastly, be on the lookout for updated schedules for UAL flights coming soon!
With the expected launch date of the PMDG 777 coming very soon for MSFS2020 maybe even tomorrow, VUAL will allow all pilots to fly CAT FREE starting from today until the end of July, 2024!!! This gives our newer pilots with less hours an opportunity to fly the 777 in UAL and STAR Alliance liveries to rack up the hours needed to fly her "full time". Enjoy!!!
Greetings! Just two quick updates today. Firstly, the UAL schedules have been updated again in April! You now have the most up-to-date flights available to fly. Second, we have added a #staff-job-posting-application channel to Discord for future staff openings. As you know, we are 100% committed to Discord as our communication means, so visit there often.
