Comments

  • Franklin Dermody writes: “Central America Tour leg 6. This leg completes the award.”
  • Franklin Dermody writes: “When setting up for this flight, I didn't realize the default aircraft for this flight was the Beech 1900. If I had known that, I would have set it up for a charter with the B738. All of the other flights in this tour default to the B738. It's a little bit of a "gotcha" if you ask me.”
  • Franklin Dermody writes: “P.S. - It seems contrary to logic to have the short leg from MGGT to MSLP set up with the B738 and have the long leg from MSLP to MMMX set up with the Beech 1900 in the ACARS bid system.”
  • Franklin Dermody writes: “P.P.S. - And discovering this after hand-flying the approach at night!”
  • Joerg Schwuchow writes: “Well, the AWARD rules are to use "Captain for below ranked aircraft", so no worries. You could have changed the aircraft within the ACARS system. I am gong to change it for you. Grats on the AWARD Franklin. ”
