Comments

  • John Santos / LOA 06/2024 writes: “I see that you set the sim rate to 4x for taxiing. I'll accept the pirep, but the only time sim rate can be accelerated is during over water operations for the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans. Please refrain from using time acceleration unless it for extended over water ops.”
  • Mazen Abdelsalam writes: “I never use acceleration. That was by mistake when I wanted to start clock and it's weird that QW757 clock is linked to acceleration. Please don't make such comments because I don't need any favor accepting the PIREP.”
  • John Santos / LOA 06/2024 writes: “I'm making that comment, because it is written in the Operations guidelines when time acceleration can be used. It's not favoring because I can see it was used during taxiing operations. If I see something that can possibly go against the guidelines set forth by the VA, it is my responsibility as the hub manager to comment on it, as I would comment on any PIREP that I saw from anyone.”
