  • Franklin Dermody writes: “Cross the Pacific Award outbound flight. Mid Air Refuel at 20:56 is a glitch. One of the waypoints in the flight plan was NDB AY. For some reason the flight planner picked St. Anthony in Nova Scotia instead of Kumagaya in Japan. I reloaded the flight plan with the correct waypoint and got the Mid Air Refuel message. I checked my fuel level at that point. I took off with 100% fuel and when I checked again it was 90%. I'm not trying to "pull a fast one" here. I just needed to check the waypoints more thouroughly. I will abide by the decision made. Hopefully I won't have to "eat" this flight YET again.”
