CAT FREE

Vatsim's annual Cross The Pond Westbound will be held on April 26, 2025. 

I encourage all of our pilots to participate in it if you have the time.  It is a great event with gate to gate  live ATC.  I think the quote "It's as real as it gets" applies to this event.

As part of our participation in in this event we will be  will be going CAT FREE again from April 18, 2025 at 0500 Zulu to May 5, 2025 at 0500 Zulu. During this time you are able to fly any aircraft in the fleet, regardless of your rank and type ratings held. 

This will let you fly the BIG IRON regardless of your rank.  We will open it up a week early for those of you who may be new to flying long haul.  It's always a lot of fun to participate in this event, I hope to see you there.
