Re: Guide - MSFS2020 + ACARS + FBW A32NX
Thanks very much for putting this guide together, Brian; I'm sure many vUAL pilots who are dipping their toes into MSFS will find it very helpful.

I agree with that proposal. Keep in mind that Eurowings may be a subsidiary of Lufthansa but it is not a Star Alliance partner. It has codeshare arrangements with Lufthansa, United, Air Canada, etc., in much the same way Aer Lingus and Hawaiian do.

Re: FSX SE Flight Planner
VATSIM no longer supports FSINN; as you note, no need to install it.

Re: FSX SE Flight Planner
Sorry, I meant to get back to this awhile ago. Are you sure you're downloading the correct file from Simbrief? It should be FSX/P3D or FSX/P3D (No SID/STAR) for FSX SE. And, it should be going into My Documents/Flight Simulator X Files and you would "load" it from the same screen as when you load yo...

Re: Memorial Day Weekend
I think our TS licence is good until the fall so it should be around until then. At that point, I'm guessing, is that we'll look at how much traffic it's getting, how much use Discord gets as compared to the "tomb-like" forums, etc. At the very least, I hope the forums stay as at least an archive, s...

South Pacific Weekend Event Briefing
The Tokyo/Narita (RJAA) hub is hosting a weekend event, flying from Narita to Guam (PGUM) on Saturday, June 19 and returning to Tokyo on Sunday, June 20. Pilots who complete both legs, and file a PIREP through ACARS or manually with a VATSIM flight link, in United or ANA livery, online or offline, w...

Re: New PC Flying Again ?
Good to have you back in the skies, Ray. I feel your pain on the GPU front; I'm still using a 3Gb Radeon card that I bought to speed up my photo software. Good to hold off on the MSFS, in my opinion. It's a great GA platform but just starting to get some decent tubeliners. Still no ActiveSky and I'v...
